Class D Course

The certificate obtained after completing the Class D navigation courses grants the holder the right to operate recreational boats with an engine power of over 5 horsepower and a maximum length of 24 meters on inland waterways such as rivers, lakes, and canals.

During the courses, participants acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to safely operate a motorboat. At the end, they will take the practical exam (navigation test) to obtain the graduation certificate. After completing the course, graduates can register for the official navigation exam organized by the Romanian Naval Authority (ANR) at territorial captaincies.
